Saturday May 2, Sunday May 3, Styrofoam Box Planter Workshop
In this workshop you will modify a Styrofoam box for use as a planter. Troughs and planters are a great way to get into rock gardening and alpine plants if you do not have space for an in-ground rockery.
Cost is $50 for members and $80 for non-members. Payment by e-Transfer is required upon registration to secure your spot in the workshop.
Bring gloves and a dust mask to the workshop. Fee includes:
Styrofoam box
Guidance, use of tools and materials to modify the box for use as a planter for alpine plants
Growing media
Invitation to a workshop on planting your planter
The planting workshop will be held on May 16th at 6-9pm at Lakeview Community Hall. The workshop will be led by our May guest speaker: Chris Dixon from Victoria. He is a genius when it comes to unique planting styles. This workshop will be recorded.
