Drs. Carole and Ian Bainbridge will describe aspects of growing alpine plants from seed; collecting, sowing, and growing. They will also talk briefly about the SRGC Seed Exchange.
Speaker Bio:
Drs. Carole and Ian Bainbridge are long-time members of the Scottish Rock Garden Club (SRGC) and play fundamental roles in the Club’s annual Seed Exchange. Each is a past President of the Club, and both have a number of other roles in the Club. They grow a wide variety of rock garden and other plants in their garden at Luckie Harg’s near Gatehouse of Fleet in Southwestern Scotland. They have travelled extensively, seeking plants in their native habitat.
